CREATE’s Pathways department has a strong focus on meeting the needs of the community with regard to Training, Education and Employment services. Programs and services include vocational, literacy and employment skills courses for adults and fee-for-service programs.

CREATE Pathways offers several courses for adults (any person no longer at secondary school) in vocational, literacy and employment skills areas. Most of these are funded through the Adult Community and Further Education (ACFE) Board, which allows learners to access educational programs which can offer pathways into employment, or further education. Funded courses currently include Certificate III in Aged Care with Home and Community Care, Certificate III in Education for people wishing to become Integration (Teacher’s) Aides, Certificate III in Children’s Services, Certificates in General Education for Adults (four levels) and Certificate I in Vocational Preparation.
Other courses offered include Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, which is the minimum qualification required to deliver and assess accredited training for adults. This course is offered part-time and is a fee-for-service course not attracting government funding.
