CREATE at Work
CREATE at Work is CREATE's community enterprise project that incorporates a number of 'community focused' programs. CREATE at Work specialises in training, work and employment of staff including Australian School Based Apprentices. CREATE at Work also has a business development arm that provides many services.
CREATE at work started in 2001 under the Neighbourhood Renewal Program but has since grown to be an integral and successful part of CREATE (Geelong) Inc. At Work currently has three full-time employees overseeing various current projects and training apprentices.
Contract Works
CREATE at Work Contract Works is a competitive community enterprise specialising in outdoor works, primarily for the Office of Housing. Contract Works seeks to employ people living in Office of Housing homes, providing a pathway to employment and further education through on the job and accredited training. Contract Works enhances the amenities of Geelong's Northern Suburbs with such works as concreting, fencing, gardening and maintenance.
Business Development
CREATE at Work has a successful and skilful business development program that aims to make the department competitive within the industry and to further assist CREATE (Geelong) Inc with current goals and initiatives.
The CREATE at Work business development goals see at Work deliver a range of quality products and services including affordable housing, a key aspect of CREATE (Geelong) Inc.'s overarching strategic plan. These products are then delivered to several community sectors.
Nobility Homes
Nobility Homes (as found in the Yellow Pages) is one of the integral business development initiatives that provide affordable housing and accommodation needs for the general public and business sectors.
Nobility Homes offer a specific range of quality products that include:
- Small self-contained units
- Bungalows
- Cottages
- Holiday designs, styles and prices
CREATE (Geelong) Inc. is committed to developing sustainable business developments such as Nobility Homes as a way of moving forward with a small team, but with the ability to expand if required.
