The Create Your Future (CYF) program provides an alternative educational or transitional pathway for students with a disability.
CREATE works in partnership with schools to achieve the best possible outcomes for each individual student.
After detailed discussions with the student, school, and other significant stakeholders, CREATE developes a plan that outlines the style of support and/or the appropriate program for that student. CREATE then works on putting the plan into affect and regularly monitoring student progress.
Please note the level, and type, of assistance that CREATE can provide for a student may vary depending on specific individual needs and the PSD (Program for Students with a Disability) funding level available to that student.
Students may continue to attend school part time or not at all depending on individual needs.

The program, following a travel needs assessment, is individualised to each client. The program will address, in real terms, each client's specific public transport travel needs.
Please note that costs will be negotiated with each referral. This service may not accommodate all client needs due to geographical restraints. Eligibility for this service will be determined on a case by case basis.
The purpose of CREATE’s Driver Education program (DE) is to assist people in gaining their Learners Permit. The program is designed for people who have difficulty with reading or who have learning difficulties. The program runs for ten weeks and focuses on teaching participants all aspects of obtaining their learners permit with an emphasis on safety and the responsibilities involved in having a permit.
Each lesson provides one to one assistance and the program is individually catered to the participant so therefore it runs at their own pace. The lessons are varied and include the use of both visual and verbal learning tools such as road safety computer programs. Assistance is provided in all steps of the learner permit process, including filling in forms and providing support when undertaking the test if required.
