The Hon Tim Pallas MP to open CREATE’s new Wyndham offices and training facility at Suite 6, 2 Station Place, Werribee on 20 June 2008.

Over a period of seven years CREATE Wyndham has run a diverse package of very successful training and support programs and services for young people who have a disability, and alternative training programs for non school attending youth.

In order to continue the provision of quality services and grow this important work CREATE has recently expanded and refurbished these facilities throughout. 

CREATE CEO Trevor Schenk said the continuation and expansion of these programs is incredibly important to individual people, their families, and the Wyndham community as a whole. Our commitment is to be a different, dynamic and life changing service provider within the City of Wyndham.

Important features of the opening will be the introduction of Veronica Treloar our recently appointed Manager CREATE Wyndham, the introduction of the positive and dynamic CREATE staffing team and the launch of the new CREATE web site.

CREATE is a not-for-profit Registered Training Organisation with a strong community focus. In responding to the CREATE mission ‘to provide opportunities for individuals and communities to achieve their goals and aspirations’ CREATE works closely with other community organisations. 

Partnering with community and government funding bodies such as the Department of Human Services, Neighbourhood Renewal, the Office of Housing, Disability Services, local government and corporate for-profit businesses is seen as a crucial to living out the CREATE mission. 

Investing in the City of Wyndham is something CREATE’s Board of Management is strongly committed to, said Barry Pearce the CREATE Board Chairman. Expanded services include adult training options, School-based Apprenticeships & Traineeships, and workplace traineeships.  

Other services and programs will be initiated with the implementation of the ‘CREATE 2012 Development Plan’.
