Salary Sacrifice

CREATE is deemed to be a benevolent institution by the tax office. This entitles CREATE to provide a salary sacrifice package as a means of reducing tax payable. As a result of this a staff member can request CREATE to pay part of their wages towards expenses, such as a mortgage or visa card. This amount is a pre-tax deduction which results in a higher net payment each fortnight.

Team Leader

Full Time Position

CREATE Access provides skill development and   individualised support services to people with a disability.

This position will be responsible for leadership of the individualised support Team as well as assisting in the provision of group programs within the CREATE Access department.

The successful applicant for this position will possess:

  • Sound understanding of the issues confronting people with a disalbility  and how they impact on life skills
  • A high level of interpersonal skills with the ability to listen, and negotiate with a variety of people.
  • Ability to problem solve with creativity and initiative.
  •  A commitment to continuous improvement.

Welfare sector qualifications and relevant industry experience  is required.  Team Leader experience is preferred but not essential.

Full time position with attractive remuneration which includes a salary packaging option.

A current Victorian Drivers Licence, Police Check and Working with Children’s Check (WCC) are essential for this position.

Qualified Trainers

Various Positions

CREATE are seeking qualified and experienced trainers to deliver class based training in the following areas:

  • Certificate III in Education Support (Sessional and/or part time 12 month contract)
  • Literacy and Numeracy for Adults with a disability (Sessional 12 month contract)
  • Literacy and Numeracy for Youth with a disability (Part time 12 month contract)
  • Certificate III in Business Administration (Part time 12 month contract

Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and industry qualifications and skills are mandatory.

Casual Disability Support Workers

We are looking for flexible and innovative staff who are able to recognize the potential in people with a disability, to assist them to be active participants in their community and support them in achieving their goals.

  • Are interested in being part of a dynamic team, but able to work autonomously
  • Have completed or are willing to undertake Cert IV in Disability Studies or equivalent

Key Worker Positions

Two Part-Time positions - 24hrs per week.

This position is within the CREATE Access Division which provides individualised support to people with a disability in the Barwon South West Region. The Key Worker role is part of the Create Your Future team working with young people 18 and under. Key Workers are responsible for one-to-one support to participants with a disability, individual program development and community networking and engagement.

If you have the ability to work successfully with individuals with a disability, their families and the community and are able to see and promote the potential in people then this position could be for you!

Welfare sector qualifications and relevant industry experience required.

This position provides an attractive salary and an option to salary package within CREATE guidelines.
