CREATE (Geelong) Inc is a non-government, community-based organisation which assists individuals and communities to grow and learn while advocating the right of self-determination and personal empowerment for all.

With a long history of service provision and active community participation within the Barwon region, dating back to the 1980s, CREATE has delivered a wide range of training and employment-focussed community services and programs.

Over our years of operation, CREATE has met immediate needs as well as providing longer-term assistance through our services and programs in areas such as youth, disability, welfare, education, community enterprise, personal support, community projects, housing and many others.

CREATE currently auspices a range of government-funded (Federal and State), community-funded, and CREATE-funded services and programs.

Expanded service options and contracts have secured new opportunities in all services and programs, many with a very strong focus on assisting people, families and community groups who are facing significant barriers in realising their goals and aspirations.

Specialist support and assistance is provided to people with complex needs such as youth at risk, those with chronic mental health issues, those with challenging behaviours, young mothers and other special support needs areas.

CREATE is a Registered Training Organisation with a commitment to develop customised training that responds to the real needs of people and community in a creative and vibrant way.

Governed by a Board of Management, with Directors representing a cross-section of local community members and organisations, CREATE is strongly committed to enlisting local people and resources in actively supporting people and community effectively.

CREATE services are active, responsive and ever-evolving. This is possible because our services, programs and business units are supported by strong, positive leadership from our Senior Managers, Team Leaders and staff teams.

The key service areas which make up our organisation are:

Services are supported and resourced by the CEO who works closely with the Board of Management, department managers and the Organisational Quality & Resourcing department which incorporates organisational quality, finance, IT, reception, administration support, human resources, marketing, and other key areas.
